Property Ledger privacy policy
Who operates Property Ledger?
Property Ledger is operated by West Kensington Apartments as a private property-management application.
For privacy enquiries, contact addisongardens2@gmail.com.
This policy explains the application’s optional Google Calendar connection and these public informational pages.
Information used by the Calendar connection
The connection uses:
- The authorised owner’s Google email address to confirm the correct account.
- Authorisation credentials allowing the approved connection to operate.
- Calendar and event identifiers needed to maintain its entries.
- Selected booking information used in calendar entries: guest name, unit or building label, arrival and departure dates, and booking source.
These public pages do not display any actual booking, property, guest or tenant information.
Why this information is used
The information is used solely to create, update, check and cancel Property Ledger’s arrival and departure entries in the designated Google calendar.
The connection does not import unrelated calendar entries into Property Ledger. Changes made in Google Calendar do not change Property Ledger’s booking records.
Google permissions
Google’s event permission technically allows access to events in calendars owned by the authorised Google account. Property Ledger restricts its operations to the designated calendar and its own managed entries.
The integration does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive or Google Contacts.
Storage, security and service providers
The private application uses owner-only access controls. Authorisation credentials are stored in protected credential or secret storage, rather than public pages or application source code.
Google processes the calendar entries. Cloudflare hosts the private application, and Backblaze stores encrypted application backups. These public pages have no connection to the private database or document storage.
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising or used to train AI models. Its use follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Connection credentials are retained while the connection is required. Application records and calendar entries are retained according to their administrative purpose and applicable legal obligations.
Privacy, correction and deletion requests can be sent to the contact address above. Requests are reviewed before deletion, including whether information involves other people or must legally be retained.
Encrypted backups may retain earlier copies of information for a period as part of the backup and recovery lifecycle, including after information has been removed from the working application.
Disconnecting Google Calendar
The owner can revoke access through Google Account connections.
Revoking access prevents further authorised access. It does not automatically delete existing Google Calendar entries, Property Ledger records or previously created encrypted backups.
Visiting these public pages
These pages contain no sign-in forms, booking forms, advertising or analytics scripts. The hosting provider may process basic connection information, such as IP addresses and access logs, to deliver and protect the pages.
